Will an attorney be able to lift my suspension faster?

I have a CDL and can’t get a job because of charges that are on my license. This will be lifted soon but if I get an attorney can this be lifted faster and better for me?

It is possible that an attorney can expedite the process of getting holds on a drivers license lifted.

That depends on why your license is suspended. If it's for failure to pay past fines, probably not. But if it is for something more complicated an attorney may be able to help. Best thing to do is go talk to one. Many if not most criminal defense attorneys offer free initial consultations. Good luck!

Typically yes! It depends what the offenses are for. An attorney can navigate the court system much better and figure out why license is suspended. In the meantime you should get a printout of your DMV record.

No. What your talking about are consequences. No one can make them go away. You didn't even site what the charges were or what the suspension was for. This could have an impact as well. For example, if it was due to DUI. The suspension could be set to expire, but unless you've complied with DUI Program, suspension won't be lifted.

What kind of charges? DUI? That will always stay on your record.

If your driver's license is suspended because of a DUI, you can apply for a restricted license through the DMV. Hiring an attorney probably will not make this process go faster since the DMV is in charge of issuing and re-issuing driver's license; not the Court.
